The TVHS Teachers and Students' Visit to Piekary Slaskie
From 2 to 12 June 2014 a group of the TVHS teachers and students stayed in Piekary Śląskie. Together with their Polish counterparts they went for trips to Cracow, Wieliczka, Krasiejów Jurassic Park as well as to several postindustrial monuments of the Upper Silesian region. They also took part in a meeting with a cosmetologist, photographic workshops, lessons of the Polish and Slovakian languages and in international sports tournaments (a table tennis competition and a volleyball one). The Polish and Slovakian students prepared a scale model of postindustrial area of Księża Góra and collected pieces of information and photos for the book-guide, spherical panorama and tourist informative boards.
